2013 DC FILM FESTIVAL CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - December 1, 2012

We are open to films of any genre except adult films and in any language (with subtitles). We do not have a section dedicated to family films, but love films that appeal to the child in us all. We always have a horror film section, in honor of a genre that has been an important launching point for independent filmmakers. DCIFF 2013 (March 6-10, 2013) also welcomes open source films, art films and interactive films. Entry fee.

RECAPTURING WOMANHOOD TRAVELING ART EXHIBIT - October 1, 2012

Addressing how women of all ages, races, orientations and abilities document their daily life with mobile media technology. In particular, how the ease and proximity of these devices offer insight into the everyday lives of contemporary women. The Vilcek Foundation is pleased to announce the second annual dARTboard Call for Entries in Digital Art! We are now accepting submissions for the dARTboard, our digital art space launched in Spring 2012.
