SPORT MUSEUM CALL FOR ART - September 7, 2011

Eligible entries must have sports as a subject. There are three categories: painting/2D, sculpture and photography. Except for entries in photography (which may be digital photography and manipulated) work must be produced by the "hand of the artist" - no digital or computer art. LONDON CORE GALLERY OPEN SUBMISSION - July 10, 2011

Artists working in all mediums are welcome to apply to be selected for an exhibition with Core Gallery which will run during the Deptford X 2011; an international contemporary Arts Festival in South East London, 23rd September-2nd October 2011. All selected artists will have their works exhibited by Core Gallery during the Deptford X. Entry fee.

The opportunity to compete for this project is open to all professional artists residing in the United States. The City of Kansas City, Missouri is seeking artists or artist collaborations to develop innovative, original Art for the Kansas City Police Department Headquarters building renovation/addition at 1125 Locust Street. Estimated Budget: $225,000.

NATIONAL ART COMPETITION - September 1, 2011

The 2nd Annual Only Originals National Invitational is open to artists age 18 and older residing in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii. Submit jpegs online, by e-mail, or U.S. mail. All media accepted. Artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist. Single award varies by number of entries ($250-$5,000). Juror: Gallery owner Carol Fullerton-Samsel.

CALL FOR CHILDREN'S ART INSTRUCTORS - July 1, 2011

Art school is looking for multiple instructors who have experience teaching art to children at different ages. We are looking for instructors with charisma who feel comfortable teaching on camera. Prior experience teaching art to children is required. Please submit the following. Incomplete submissions are not considered. Send: 1) Sample images of your own art. 2) Resume (please include your art education). 3) Hourly pay requirement. 4) Past hourly pay history. 5) Indicate the art subjects that you teach. 6) Indicate the age range of children you have experience teaching.
