Planned Parenthood of Central Pennsylvania seeks the design of an indoor mural at its York City Health Center. Planned Parenthood is a non-profit organization that provides reproductive and sexual health care and education for women, men and teens. Artists are invited to submit work samples of public or private murals. A selection committee will review submissions and interview potential candidates. COLORADO ART RANCH RESIDENCIES - March 1, 2008

Applications are being accepted for the Steamboat Springs residency April 24-May 22, 2008. Colorado Art Ranch provides artists and writers with four weeks of living and studio space to work uninterrupted. Each residency has a mix of 5 to 6 artists and writers. Residents receive free admission to the Artposium and living and studio space for one month. Residents are responsible for travel, food, and an application fee of $30. Artists will be responsible for shipping or removing their own work at the end of the residency. Each resident will get their own room, but may share a bath and cooking facilities.

Currently seeking applicants for 2008-2009. The AIR program hosts three visual artists and one creative writer in their twenties for a rent-free 11-month period. The program is open to Upstate artists as well as those from the Southeast and beyond. The mission of the Illinois Artisans Program (IAP) is to bring national and statewide recognition to the rich heritage of fine crafts in Illinois. IAP markets craft through Illinois Artisans venues in Chicago and at Rend Lake, and museum stores in the Illinois State Museum, Springfield and Dickson Mounds Museum, Lewistown.
