Currently seeking applicants for 2008-2009. The AIR program hosts three visual artists and one creative writer in their twenties for a rent-free 11-month period. The program is open to Upstate artists as well as those from the Southeast and beyond. In exchange for rent-free living and a weekly stipend of up to $150, all four residents will participate in community-based art events, help with creative charity work, and help staff and facilitate The Showroom, HUB-BUB's Performance Hall and Gallery located below the live/work lofts. The creative writer will also serve as an apprentice to the Hub City Writers Project, an independent press and literary arts organization that shares the space with HUB-BUB. Entry fee.
