The Newark Arts Council (NAC) has announced a competition to create small sculptures that will be showcased at its April 9, 2008 Annual Gala at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center. A Grand Prize winner will be selected to receive a cash prize of $750. Up to 25 entries will be accepted for exhibition at the Gala. The competition is open to artists throughout the metropolitan area. The event, as well as the participating artists, will be promoted in local media the NAC. Color images of all works selected for exhibition will be included in the evening's souvenir program. No entry fee.
