PERSPECTIVE GALLERY’s annual juried exhibition of photography, LENS 2014. All subject matter welcome. Juror – Martha Schneider, Schneider Gallery, Chicago Exhibition 2/27-3/30. Juror’s prize: exhibition at Perspective Gallery, $200. 1st runner-up: $150. 2nd runner-up: $100. Artists may submit up to 5 photographic JPG images. NATIONAL JURIED AWARDS EXHIBITION HELD IN NAPLES, FLORIDA – March 19, 2014

Artists are invited to enter original 2-D or 3-D artwork in any media. Exhibited in The von Liebig Art Center June 9 – July 25, 2014. Awards $2,500. Juror: Erin Wright, Director of Artist Initiatives and Special Projects, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Her twenty years of experience in the art world includes Sotheby’s auction house, the Lannan Foundation and Gagosian Gallery. Entry fee.

WORK OF NATURE – January 15, 2014

The “Work of Nature” Juried Art Exhibition will showcase artists who are making art in natural mediums such as wood, stone, metal, ceramics, works on paper, encaustics, charcoal, naturally derived paints, fiber arts, basket weaving, and fine crafts. The criteria for the mediums are that they must be derived completely from natural components. Entry fee.
