Seeking artwork proposals for the Animas River Trail Mural Project, intended to create an attractive and meaningful mural centrally located in Durango. Open to all artists who have demonstrated an understanding of working with municipalities on previous public artworks. Due to site constraints, this project is ideally suited to artists focusing primarily in 2-D and 3-D media. Budget: $25,000, for design, execution, transportation and installation. $500 stipend to assist with expenses related to the finalists' presentations.
