CALL FOR NEW MEDIA ART - February 1, 2008
Artwork now being accepted for new media & video exhibition at Indiana University at Kokomo. Work being accepted for the new media exhibit includes digital art & photography, video, websites, animation and any other artwork produced using computer technology. Jan. 11th to Jan.27th is the dates for the exhibition. All work should be submitted via email, image sizes should be no larger than 2mb and set at 72dpi. Artists will be notified by email if work is accepted and only the artists accepted will receive notification. Artists will be responsible for shipping and return of works to and from the gallery.

CALL FOR NUDE ART - January 15, 2008
This is an opportunity for emerging and established artists from around the world to display their finest works. A jury will consider any medium that relates to and engages in the multi-faceted concept of nudity. This international venue seeks to promote the establishment of innovative and experimental visual art forms, such as sculpture, painting, photography, multi-media, etc. First prize is $500, Second Prize of $250. EMERGING ARTIST COMPETITION - January 11, 2008
Winners will receive a free space in the open gallery section of The Artist Project Toronto. Those selected will also be included in the show guide and website. Eligible artists include those who are currently enrolled or are no more than three years removed from post-secondary education. Artists working in all media, including new media, video and installation art, are encouraged to apply. Submissions will be juried based on originality, quality and execution of the work. No entry fee.

We invite you to submit artwork to be considered for the 2008 edition of The William and Mary Review - a literary and art magazine published by the College of William and Mary for over half a century that selects work from professional artists worldwide. Please send five to fifteen digital images of your unpublished art to the address below, along with your email address, mailing address, and a two to three sentence biography. All media and themes welcomed. We request that you submit all art as digital images in TIFF format(CMYK, not RGB). Contributors will receive five complimentary copies of the publication. Entry fee.

ARTISTIC AND ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIPS IN FRANCE - January 12, 2008
Applications from composers, writers, and visual artists pursuing specific projects and from scholars pursuing studies in the humanities and social sciences relating to French and francophone cultures are welcome. The interdisciplinary residency program is intended to give fellows the time and space they need to realise their projects. The Foundation's hillside campus overlooks the Mediterranean Sea in Cassis, France; it includes thirteen furnished apartments, a reference library, and three art/music studios. Fellows are provided with accommodation on campus and a stipend of $2,500. Residencies are one semester (either early-September to mid-December or mid-January to the end of May). Qualified candidates from all countries and nationalities are encouraged to apply. No entry fee.
