The Phi Delta Theta Educational Foundation announces the 2008-2009 Francis D. Lyon Scholarships for students of filmmaking. Two grants -- each for up to $3,000 -- will be presented. Both undergraduate and graduate film students are invited to apply. To be eligible, a student must have completed two full years of college by June 30, 2008. He/she must be enrolled in a college/university in the United States or Canada for the full 2008-2009 academic year. Scholarship criteria: Talent, Academic Excellence and Financial Need. No entry fee.
