All artists in Florida are invited to enter up to three current works in any media for ART ENCOUNTER 2008. The fine art and contemporary craft exhibition will be installed from May 10 to June 29, 2008. The art association will present at least $3,000 in awards to artists selected by juror Brian Dursum, director and chief curator of the Lowe Museum, University of Miami. The awards will be announced during the Members’ Preview Reception and Awards Presentation from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9. Entry fee.
