This exhibit will showcase narrative art, which is traditionally artwork that represents elements of stories. Narrative art has evolved from primitive hunting scenes in the caves of Lascaux, to medieval tapestries, to works by modern masters like Homer, Hopper, Wyeth and Currin. Tales I have Known artists are encouraged to interpret and illustrate their favorite tale, private moment or historic event. This exhibit is not juried. All work adhering to the theme and properly prepared for hanging will be exhibited. Limited to one entry per artist. Entry fee.
