The 1st Annual Juried Portrait Competition and Exhibition will be held from October 13-November 28, 2008. All artists are invited to submit CDs or DVDs of their 2D or 3D work. Any medium is acceptable but no photographs, reproductions or giclees please. Quality of draftsmanship and values will be taken into consideration. The exhibit will be juried by award winning portrait artist, Ying-He Liu, who is represented by seven portrait galleries in the US, and who served as faculty member at the Portrait Society of America's10th National Conference in 2008. Awards will be given: 1st Place -$1,000, 2nd Place -$500, 3rd Place -$250. Participants will be notified by e-mail. Entry fee.
