Public art will be commissioned and/or purchased for the interior space of the children's department of the Main Library as part of a remodeling/renovation project. 2D or 3D art for children ages preschool-5th grade is sought that will be fun and engaging, will stimulate imagination, curiosity and interest in reading,and features sophisticated, strong design and imagery . Art should not replicate the characters of children's book illustrations and should be in a style that is gender neutral. No framed work to hang on walls. Entry fee.
