The award winning redevelopment of Denver’s former Stapleton International Airport announces a public art opportunity with a commission of $155,000 for the Westerly Creek open space area. The site of this public art project is Westerly Creek Open Space, a unique ecologically designed environment at Stapleton that serves the storm water management needs of the community. The design of Westerly Creek allows natural and human activities to converge providing habitat for plants and animals and passive recreational opportunities for people.
