Students in grades 7 - 12 are invited to submit work to The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2009, the nation's longest-running, largest, most prestigious recognition program for teenagers in the visual and literary arts. More than 30,000 teens will be recognized regionally with additional opportunities for exhibition, publication and scholarships. $3.25 million in scholarships will be made available to seniors earning national medals, and twelve Portfolio Gold Medalists will earn $10,000 scholarships from the Alliance.
