The gallery is sponsoring monthly competitions, some themed, some open subject, in which the top entries earn potentially significant cash awards. The competitions are also designed to challenge artists to stretch their abilities in new and exciting ways by setting unusual parameters for each event, such as a limited color palette, a specific theme, or a community image where all artists use the same reference photo to produce an original work.
