The Norwich Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People joins in the national commemoration with a juried art exhibit, open to all artists whose work captures the spirit and history of the NAACP. Seeking artwork that celebrates 100 years of fighting for freedom, removing racial barriers to open opportunities, reflecting on the birth of the NAACP and the diversity of the men and women who were the founders. From the historical events and currents issues, an insight of the future may be envisioned. $2,050 in prizes, $1000 first prize. Entry fee.
