A Pinch and a Dash seeks to examine the American woman's changing role in the kitchen, from rural times when a woman's biscuits defined her reputation, to twentieth century ready-made preparation. This exhibit call for works that exemplify women's role in the kitchen or reveal how this role has changed to meet new challenges of American society, from providing sustenance for the family, to maintaining ethnic traditions to natural and organic awareness. All media considered. Juror: Connie Koppelman, PhD. Entry fee.
