Artists will be asked to paint City of Boston utility boxes around the time of
Boston Shines, which will be held April 24-25, 2009. Once professionally painted, these utility boxes in neighborhood business districts will contribute to the vitality and attractiveness of the urban streetscape and defer graffiti. Participating Boston artists will receive a $300 stipend from the City of Boston upon completion of their box. Entry fee.
