An artist's Little Black Book is often a secret stash of intimate expressions, innermost thoughts, and experimental techniques that lay the groundwork for their final piece. Little Black Book seeks to show the thought processes involved in art making through the evolution of the work. This exhibition will focus on displaying the plans for the work as well as the final piece. We are looking for artists to submit their sketchbooks, photos of underpaintings, models, or other examples of preliminary plans along with final pieces of art these plans evolved from. Both the final works and preliminary plans will be exhibited. Entry fee.
