A dance and media firm is hosting a short-essay contest called "We are Dance", where contestants will write 250-300 words about the role they think dance should play in advancing modern economies, to win $300 and a chance at book publication. The entry fee will help to bring African dance, hip-hop and jazz dance to developing countries in Asia.
