Located in Bushwick, Brooklyn, this miniature golf course occupies what was once a vacant lot. Although unused, underutilized, and abandoned spaces are abundant in the immediate surroundings, art galleries, restaurants, and coffee shops have begun to appear. Taking advantage of this moment of fluctuation, The Putting Lot explores the possibility of an alternate use for these empty spaces. Stipends of up to $500 will be available for materials and participants will construct and install their design with optional additional labor during the month of May. Entry fee.
