CALADAN GALLERY presents a juried exhibition entitled "GESTURE, ACTION, EXPRESSION". There is certain purity present in the raw element of the association between material and energy. This is the realm of the artist projecting energy and feelings outward, whether at the tip of the mind's eye, understood or not, into the medium which he or she uses. This can be manifested in color, texture, subject matter, or just directed intention in general. For this exhibition we seek to delve into this vast realm, to bring motion to the surface. We have been extremely fortunate to be creating an exciting, diverse, and active meeting place for artists and viewers alike, in a warm and positive virtual atmosphere since 2003. All mediums except video are eligible.
