The human figure in art is timeless and universal and has reverberated throughout art history and contemporary art practice. Contemporary artists have refocused our gaze on personal identity as a viable and engaging conduit for explorations of modern life, modern identity, and the social and sexual politics that impact us all. While all work will be considered, special consideration will be paid to conceptual and new media art. The exhibition will be on view January 16—March 28, 2010. No entry fee.
