Qualifications are requested from an artist interested in creating site specific public artwork for the Colorado State Troop Office and Patrol Regional Communications Center in Alamosa, Colorado. Total art budget is $14,500. The artwork will be three-dimensional and should create a welcome to this multi-functional regional facility located in southwestern Colorado. The artwork can be kinetic or suggest motion. The artwork should create a presence, be somewhat vertical in nature as the piece should be visible to passersby on the adjacent road and speak to the high mountain valley character of southern Colorado.
