Seeking artworks in any media that deal with the issues of home, the search for home, and cultural hybridity. Underlying Invisible Homes is the quest for integration, inclusion and a redefinition of the majority. It entails seeking the complete privileges of citizenship and of universal human rights. Home signifies the struggle to have one's personhood actualized. In short, what Invisible Homes investigates is the extent to which ideas of otherness effect social and civic integration. Entry requires a DVD/CD with three images, image inventory list, artist statement, and a bio/resume/cv. Entry fee.
