December 3, 2009 - January 29, 2010. Entry fee: $35 (includes membership in Friends of Emory Visual Arts). What is home, and where is it? What does it mean to look for home, to find home, to lose home, to be at home? In whose company does home arise? Under what circumstances? At what cost? How is "home" being impacted by the current economic crisis in America? Submissions are invited to a juried photography exhibition on these and related issues: images (and combinations of images and words) that investigate, comment on and test various dimensions of "home" - in its familiarity and unfamiliarity, its pleasures and discomforts, its communal and personal aspects.
