The Michael Peter Hayes Art Salon will host an exhibition of Artist Trading Cards more commonly referred to as ATCs from October 31 to November 27, 2009, to benefit the National Cancer Center (NCC) located in Plainview, New York. OPENING RECEPTION 5:00 – 8:00pm, October 29, 2009. This show will be a fundraiser for the NCC’s research and education mission to seek and provide financial support to researchers undertaking thorough, innovative, and promising studies on topics related to conquering cancer as well as educating Americans on how they can reduce their risk of the disease. An ATC is 3.5 x 2.5 inches. All ATC’s will be framed in an 8 x 10 inch simple black frame with a white mat, ready to be hung. All work is for sale for the fixed price of $50.00. The National Cancer Center will take 50 percent from the sale of each ATC with the balance to go to the artist.
