Seeking contemporary artists working in installation, video, multi-media or design to propose a site-specific work for “The Dressing Room Project” which will coincide with Toronto Arts and Fashion Week, a multi-arts event that features 200 artists and designers annually and draws 5,000 visitors, including industry professionals, curators, critics, the press and the public. This is a site-specific project consisting of 7 individual art installations where artists will alter the environment of a traditional dressing room within a film studio setting by creating an installation, which will offer a commentary on the notion of clothing/fashion/vanity/the body.
