Entries must integrate two or more of the five senses (touch, taste, sight, smell, sound) into a single work or group of artworks. Sensory Overload will be an all media exhibition that aims to arouse the spectator through works that address all characteristics of our physical awareness. Artists are visual beings; with this exhibition we are looking for art that also appeals to our other four senses, demonstrating how integral they are to everyday life. Using textures, sight, sounds, smells, and/or tastes, this exhibition intends to create an environment that explores the physiological methods of perception. Sensory Overload is open to all local or national artists 18+ years. All media will be accepted and works must be original and completed within the last 3 years. Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 works. Entry fee.
