Open to artists working in painting, drawing, mixed media, fiber, ceramics, jewelry. We have a limited use facility for both metalsmithing and printmaking. We do not yet have a darkroom on site, but are hoping to acquire one in the near future. River East Art Center Residency Program offers partially subsidized rental rates for the 20 studios, ranging in size from 132 square feet to 477 square feet. In addition to maintaining studio spaces, many Resident Artists teach classes and lead workshops offered through Project 465 Art School, participate in lectures, panel discussions and exhibitions made possible through REpose Gallery, which is focused on showcasing work generated by artists in the Residency Program, who are active members of the REAC Artist community.
