Seeking submissions for "When the Animal Holds a Space: A Celebration of Zoomorphic Vessels," a juried exhibition that will run from Saturday, April 24, 2010 until Saturday, June 5, 2010. Only three-dimensional work is eligible. All work must have a zoomorphic (animal) form in which either the representational, abstract, or symbolic "presence" of an animal in some way contains, carries, protects, or otherwise "holds a space." Eligible vessel forms include (but are not limited to): bowls, cups, goblets, rhyta, jars, urns, oil lamps, vases, boats, canoes, kayaks, whistles, rattles, bells, and other vessels and vessel-like objects. Both functional and non-functional vessels are eligible. No entry fee.
