The San Luis Obispo Art Center invites artists, curators, co-curators, art historians, collectors and others active in the arts for the presentation of exhibition proposals of artistic merit in concept, organization and execution. All media will be considered including but not limited to two-dimensional, three-dimensional, video and new media installations. Proposals may be for one-person shows, group shows or anything in between. They may be juried, curated or invitational, and must have a concept that is current and relevant. All works accepted and exhibited must remain on display for the full duration of the exhibit. While not juroring for commercial sales, artwork for sale is encouraged. A modest exhibition budget will be available with an honorarium for research and travel. Entry fee.
