CALADAN GALLERY presents a juried exhibition entitled "Contrast-Light-Energy". Whether you see it on the TV tube, the computer screen, or the sun making shadows on earth and water, we are saturated constantly by energy, be it moving or seemingly static. We peer at clear bottles lit from within in a dark barroom. The streetlights cast a long shadow on pavement in the moonlight. The laboratory contains condensed energy in a myriad of forms. A childs cry; birdcall; the bathroom light all of these contain energy, condensed or released. We are searching for art either utilizing or reflecting contrast, light, and/or energy. All mediums except video are eligible. Entry fee.
