Project: Purchase of pre-existing works of art available for delivery in May 2010. Sites for art are interior wall locations. Budget: $20,000 intended to purchase several works of art for the public spaces in the building. Artists must meet at least one of the following criteria to apply: the artist is a UF student, faculty or staff member; the artist has completed public commissions similar in budget to the proposed project; the artist's works are included in major public, private, corporate or museum collections; the artist has received awards, grants or fellowships; the artist has had a one-person exhibition in a museum within the past five years.
