The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth is partnering with Prevention Connections to host a childhood obesity prevention conference called the Weight of the State in Richmond, Virginia, on May 17-18, 2010. Accepted artwork will be displayed at the conference and then will hang at the Children’s Museum of Richmond through the month of June 2010. Entered artwork must embrace the theme of healthy lifestyles for children through nutritious eating, physical activity and overall positive decision making. Any 2-D work is eligible and all artists' interpretations are welcomed. Open to artists 18 years and older living in Virginia. Entry fee.
