Jerry Malloy Negro League Conference and the Society for American Baseball Research announce a National Call for Art for its 13th annual conference in Birmingham, Alabama this summer, July 15th-17th. The subject of the Conference is Negro League Baseball and your art is wanted! The subject matter should depict or refer to Negro League baseball in some way. Two winners will receive a prize of $300 to go along with exhibition at the Conference and publication in the prestigious journal Black Ball in 2011. All ages invited, all traditional art mediums encouraged. Please send jpeg files on disc in a size of less than 300 dpi and $20 (Check made out to SABR)for 3 entries.
