Seeking approximately 35 artists in most mediums for the Third Cary Library Art Sale and Soiree (CLASS 3) to be held May 1, 2011, 6:30-9 pm. We will consider ceramics, glass, metal, painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, wood, drawing, textiles, paper art, and other media. On May 1, the selected artists will exhibit their art for sale in the library and sell their art with 25% going to the library. Those who donate to the silent auction also will have that work exhibited in the library's first floor gallery for the month before and exhibited on the foundation's website. Artist must be currently showing in galleries and/or museums or have done so within the past 5 years.
