"The Book: A Contemporary View" is an exhibition that explores the book in contemporary art. It will be on view at the DCCA from December 22, 2010—April 17, 2011. This exhibition will look at the different approaches to the book taken by contemporary artists. These approaches include artist-made books, pop-up books, comic books, graphic novels, and both three-dimensional and two-dimensional artworks that explore and stretch definitions of the "book." The DCCA is searching for artists who want to make proposals for works, including installations, or from those who already have works that are relevant to the topic.
