In September, Tatar Art + Projects will open in the international furniture studio Klaus. At this new location, we will be presenting innovative contemporary art alongside an exclusive inventory of modern and contemporary furniture created by world-renowned architects and designers. This hybrid space breaks from the traditional art gallery format and will serve as a platform where contemporary art and design are allied and interdependent. For 15 years, Tatar Gallery has exhibited contemporary Canadian and international artists, focusing primarily on painting and photography. Going forward, we are expanding our mandate to include and present artists working in wood, ceramics, paper, metal, plastic, mobiles and recycled and sustainable materials.
