The call is open to all emerging artists working in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Ventura and San Bernardino counties. All forms of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital and installation art are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. All submitted art pieces should fall under the theme of "Our Urban Ocean," so pieces having to do with our ports, human uses of the ocean (i.e. scuba diving, water sports, beach activities), marine life affected by the urban ocean, and/or ocean pollution. The theme of your work should be how you see the urbanized coast and ocean and what it means to you.
