Artwork in all media is acceptable and must have been created within the past three years. Non-traditional materials and installations are encouraged. Haydon exhibitions are scheduled year round and include solo exhibitions, thematic shows, site-specific/ inter-active installations, and national juried exhibitions. The art center also sponsors exhibition receptions, artist talks, educational outreach, workshops, readings, music, dance, and other cultural programs as part of its mission to engage the community in contemporary art.
