Gualala Arts juried exhibit Drawings, opening October 7 through November 13, 2011, challenges artists to create what can be termed fine art by using the most basic tools of their trade to illustrate the beauty, variety, and depth of expression possible with this medium. A portrait artist must capture in his or her work the fleeting mood or the essence of a subject, whether realistic, abstract or romantic, in his chosen medium. Portrait is a juried and judged exhibit with prizes. Entry fee.
