The Storefront Artist Project in downtown Pittsfield Mass invites artists to participate in our upcoming juried exhibition O Solo Mama Mia to be held in conjunction with WAM Theatre’s O Solo Mama Mia Festival, a series of solo theatre works written and performed by women. Jurors include Norman Rockwell Museum's chief curator Stephanie Plunkett and WAM co-founders Kristen van Ginhoven and Leigh Strimbeck. The criteria for selection will include quality, creativity, and adherence to festival themes of female empowerment and celebration of women in general. Both men and women are encouraged to submit. All forms and styles, including sculpture and installations, are welcome. Exhibition scheduled for May 2011.
