The exhibition is open to artist residing in the gulf coast states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Southern Open 2011 Juror: Amy Mackie, Director of Visual Arts at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. A juror's pick award of $1000 and two $600 will be announced at the opening reception on May 14, 2011. Juror's top pick award will also receive a solo exhibition as part of the AcA's Side Gallery Series during May 2011. Entry fee.
