On April 28, 2012, One Million Bones will be represented in fifty simultaneous artistic installations in every U.S. State Capital. Organized by individual artists, educators and/or local organizations each state capital will be home to 2,500 handmade bones, made by artists, students and activists from all over the United States in hopes to raise awareness of ongoing genocides and mass atrocities.
