ONE-SECOND FILM FESTIVAL - January 10, 2012

You can submit up to 10 one-second videos for each of the three qualification rounds. The 20 that receive most votes in each round will be short-listed for the final 60 seconds. Wim Wenders will pick a winner from the 60 finalists. Montblanc and Wim Wenders will award the maker of the best one-second video with a trip to Berlin during the 2012 Berlinale, and with a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec chronograph.

Open to anyone who enjoys expressing innermost thoughts and feeling into the beautiful art of poetry and/or writing a short story that's worth telling everyone! We are now accepting poems, 30 lines or fewer on any subject, style or form and short stories, 5 pages maximum length on any subject or theme, fiction or non-fiction. 27th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL JURIED COMPETITION - February 14, 2012

NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH ART EXHIBITION - January 20, 2012

This juried exhibit showcases small format contemporary art during National Women's History Month in March. Work is being sought that reflects women's issues relating to the title "Where Do We Go from Here? (The Shape of Things to Come)" which may be interpreted in any style that relates to the title (i.e. factually, hypothetically, symbolically, satirically, politically, etc.) Works can be loosely based on this theme; an artist statement with explanation of thematic relationship should accompany the submission. ONE SECOND FILM FESTIVAL - December 13, 2011

Montblanc and Leo Burnett Milan pay homage to the chronograph -- which recorded time to the accuracy of a fifth of a second -- with a short film challenge. The Beauty of a Second is a contest curated by Wim Wenders which asks users to demonstrate beauty in a second of film. The winner will meet Wenders and win a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec chronograph.

FEBRUARY 2012 PUBLICLY JURIED EXHIBITION - January 1, 2012

"Publicly juried" means all work is presented online prior to the exhibition, and site visitors select the final 30. All participants receive exposure. Invitations will be sent to our extensive mailing list of galleries, collectors, etc. and visitors have the option of contacting artists, both during the jury and after the winners are selected. As of Nov. 2011 over 315,314 messages have been sent to previous participants.
