Open to U.S. artists 18 or older working in any 2-D media. Work must be recent, original and wall-mountable. More than $8,500 in prize money--three $1,000 awards of excellence. Exhibit runs 7/24/12 - 9/7/12. Opening reception: 7/24/12, Nicolet College Art Gallery in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Judge: Sarah McKenzie, who was recently listed as one of the "100 Artists to Watch" in the December/January issue of Modern Painters Magazine. Entry fee.
