The prize is given for proposals for works of art rather than completed pieces, allowing artists to realise ambitious and innovative projects. Each year five artists from the MENASA region are awarded the Abraaj Capital Art Prize, who then go on to create the works. The finished pieces are unveiled during Art Dubai each March, before becoming permanent additions to the Abraaj Capital Collection. Cash Prize: $100,000 to produce artwork. No entry fee.
