ART & TECHNOLOGY THEMED EXHIBITION - June 8, 2012
The exhibition is aiming to explore the phenomenon of innovative technologies in relation to contemporary art (or: the relation of contemporary art to new technologies). Although the emphasis will be on exploring the art practices when a machine makes a vast amount of work, artists working in a way that opposes technology may also apply (we are interested in yarn bombing etc). This call seeks works addressing the recent tendency of personal fabrication of things, labs and the emergence of do-it-yourself communities. Entry fee.
